The Annual General Body meeting held on January 2nd, 2009 at Thalayolaparmabu elected the following officers for the years 2009:

President:   Dr. George Marangoly

Secretary:   Mr. George Kuruvilla

Treasurer:   Mr. K.J. John

Vice Pres.:   Mr. P.J. Monse

Jt. Secy.:     Mr. M.K. Shaji

Member:     Mr. Baby Marangoly

Our former president, Mr. Thomas Mathew (Oommachan) has gracefully agreed to be the Patron and also the committee member of the Society.

 

          Let us all pray for our beloved brother, Jimmy Antony, (S/O Anthappan Marangoly) who has left us for his heavenly abode on January 4th, 2009). May his soul rest in Peace.

 

Many decisions were taken during the General body. One of the important decisions was that of a Constitutional Amendment on Annual Membership.  Due to many practical difficulties in collecting the annual fees, the General Body has decided that all eligible* members of the Marangoly family will be member of the MFWS automatically, without paying a fee of Rs.500.

 

*Eligibility for Membership:

All male children of late (1) Ouseph Varkey (Arackavathukkal), (2) Ouseph Joseph (palattuthazathu), (3) Ouseph Kurian (Thekkumbhagam), (4) Ouseph Thoma (Karippadam), (5) Ouseph Mathai (Vadakkumbhagam), (6)  Ouseph Onachan (Marangoly), and (7) Ouseph Augusthy (marangoly), and their sons, and sons of sons, and so on, and female members married (“dathu” or unmarried who remains in Marangoly family.

Members who are willing and can afford to pay Rs.10, 000 may at their discretion become LIFE MEMBER of the Society and support our organization financially. Thank you.

 

The next important decision: From this year onwards, MFWS Annual General Body Meeting will be held on 26th December of every year.
